The Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil team are celebrating after winning an award in a new regional food and drink awards programme.
Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil beat stiff competition to win the Producer/Grower category at the inaugural York Press Food and Drink awards, which celebrate the best of York and North Yorkshire’s hospitality and food scene.
Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil’s marketing manager, Jennie Palmer, said: “It’s a huge credit to the Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil team that we have consistently won awards for the quality of our cold-pressed oil over the 18 years since launch. We’re over the moon!
“The awards reception was a great event in an iconic venue – we loved it!”
The team beat Soanes Poultry and Yorkshire Heart Vineyard to take the Producer/Grower award, which celebrates food and drink producers or growers who craft outstanding products with passion, quality, and innovation at their core.
