The team at Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil celebrated its 18th birthday by unveiling a bold new look at the Great Yorkshire Show recently.
Research conducted by marketing manager, Jennie Palmer, and a team of design experts revealed that shoppers are increasingly seeking healthier, more sustainable and traceable alternatives to mass-produced oils, and prefer to buy products that are local, natural, and tell a real story they can trust.
Over a period of nine months, the team worked up several new designs to communicate the family business’s deep connection to place and provenance and were delighted to share the winning design at Yorkshire’s iconic show.
“We’ve worked hard to dig deep into the values, ethos and heritage of our brand, and this has shaped and formed our direction. Bright and bold, our new look really helps us communicate who we are, YRO,” said Jennie. “From our farm, to your kitchen, our goal has, and always will be, to bring you the very best quality products, crafted here on our farm from rapeseed grown on the Yorkshire Wolds. “We hope you continue to enjoy our range as much as we love creating it.”
The rebranded range comprises natural and flavoured rapeseed oils, plus oil-based mayonnaise and hollandaise based on Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil’s Great Taste Two Gold Star award winning oil. They are available online, from farm shops, delis and independent retailers throughout Yorkshire, and nationwide at selected food festivals.
