If you were at York Food festival recently, you may have seen and or tasted our new Tartare Sauce. With shows and food festivals being in a state of flux, we thought long and hard whether to launch any new products at the moment, but then we figured that we all needed something new and different to tantalise our taste buds right now, so here we are!

The latest addition to our 24 strong range is made from rapeseed oil that was recently awarded two stars at the Great Taste Awards, combined with gherkins, pickled onions and capers. It was developed by our new product guru, Jason Thompson: “2020 has been a very challenging year for small businesses like ours and the temptation might have been not to invest in new products, but to wait and see how things develop.

“We decided to forge ahead with our new product development programme to give our customers something new, different and delicious and early signs are that they’re not disappointed! It is the perfect accompaniment to take any fish or seafood dish up a notch! Try it alongside fish and chips, scampi and calamari.”

Tartare Sauce is one our range of mayos that includes garlic, mustard, lemon, oak smoked and original varieties. They are available online here and from independent retailers throughout Yorkshire. The Tartare Sauce sells for £3.50 for 190g, is gluten and GM free and is suitable for vegetarians.
